My immediate first impression was that it was a piece of toast floating in space, which leaves one to think: where is the owner of the piece of toast? It would be awful to get sucked into the vacuum of space for breakfast.

Shoot, it wouldn't probably be much fun to get sucked into the vacuum of space at any other time either. Unless you have an infinite probability drive...but that's a different universe.
